The original painting, “Lightning Love” is a magical midnight moment captured in my memory. The beautiful night skies of my childhood, stars and flashes of lightning. Although my lightning is neon pink… representing love and all things good.
The neon colours don’t exist in archival inks, so a standard print wasn’t going to be bale to give the same energy and vibrancy.
Introducing, hand painted prints. Each print is handpainted by me in my studio, with the same acrylic and gauche paints I used on the original. The result is a unique version of the original. Please note, not every colour is overpainted- neon areas, accents and special features are chosen to make the work individual and give a sense of texture.
